LG Enhancing Communities Inc. was founded by Henry Leggett and Jeffrey Golden January 2010. LG Enhancing Communities was Incorporated and received non-profit status in June of 2018. The original purpose of forming the partnership was to use their experience with event planning to bring about awareness for all types of cancers. In their first year their focus was on breast cancer. During that year they started their Pink Carpet Affair, a gala with live music and a DJ.During that same year they hosted their first survivors luncheon. Both events have become annual events. In 2011 they added the Pink 1000 Breast Cancer Awareness walk to their annual events. These three events are the foundation of their vision for bringing about awareness to an illness that affects all people. They are constantly thinking of innovative ways to reach and teach the people of their community. In 2018, LG Enhancing Communities, Inc. established King Building Youth Mentoring Program and in 2019 they will introduce their veteran care package campaign. It is their belief that we all have a moral responsibility to our communities and they continue to do the work that GOD has placed in their hearts.
